DealHub System Discounts Guide

Here’s your quick-guide to how discounts work in DealHub. This should answer the common “why did this discount auto-apply?” questions, and give you clarity on when you can or can’t adjust things.

1. Why are Discounts Auto-Applied?

There are three flavors of discounts in DealHub:

  1. Volume Discounts → Based on how many licenses are purchased (the bigger the number, the bigger the discount).
  2. Contract Duration Discounts → Based on the length of the contract (longer = better discount).
  3. Default Discounts → Always applied, regardless of volume or duration (these are just baked in).

👉 Important: All of these apply automatically. You don’t need to manually add them.

2. Discounts by Product

  • Product 1: Live + AI™

    • Auto Discounts? Yes → Volume only (no duration discounts)

    • Discounts by # of Licenses:

      • 1,000 – 9,999 → 25%

      • 10,000 – 25,999 → 50%

      • 25,000 – 49,999 → 60%

      • 50,000+ → 75%

    • Extra Discounts? Only with approval from Jason Pello / Matt Seid

    • Can you remove the default discount? Yes → No approval needed

  • Product 2: Scoped High-Dosage Tutoring

    • Auto Discounts? Yes → Duration-based

    • Discounts by Contract Duration (# Weeks):

      • 01 – 19 Weeks → 0%

      • 20 – 39 Weeks→ 10%

      • 40+ Weeks→ 20%

    • Extra Discounts? Only with approval from Jason Pello / Matt Seid

    • Can you remove the default discount? Yes → No approval needed

  • Product 3: Parent-Assigned Learning Memberships (1:1)

    • Auto Discounts? Yes → Duration-based

    • Discounts by Contract Duration (# Weeks):

      • 01 – 19 Weeks → 0%

      • 20 – 39 Weeks → 10%

      • 40+ Weeks → 20%

    • Extra Discounts? Only with approval from Jason Pello / Matt Seid

    • Can you remove the default discount? Yes → No approval needed

  • Product 4: VT4S Pro Subscription

    • Auto Discounts? Yes → Default discount

    • Discount Applied: 10% flat (always pre-applied)

    • Extra Discounts? Only with approval from Jason Pello / Matt Seid

    • Can you remove the default discount? Yes → No approval needed

  • Product 5: Implementation Fees

    • Auto Discounts? ❌ None applied

    • Who approves discounts? Finance + Jason Pello / Matt Seid

    • Can you remove the default discount? Yes → No approval needed

    • Extra Discounts? Only with approval from Jason Pello / Matt Seid

    • AE Control: You can discount here, but only with finance approval.

❓ Can I remove a default discount if needed?
 ✅ Yes — you don’t need approval to remove one.

❓ Can I give extra discounts?
 ⚠️ Not recommended. Only in rare cases, with clear justification, and must be approved by your RVP and Finance (Jason Pello or Matt Seid).
